# Achilles Tendon (Help Needed)

On the good news front, I ended a long week of business travel in Europe with some [spectacular skiing](https://foursquare.com/albertwenger/checkin/5106d541e4b048e604cd220d?s=S1qmHSjAkU2YAU2k58HSPjSvSDs&ref=tw) with friends in [Verbier](http://www.verbier.ch/). On the bad news front, the rental [randonnée](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ski_touring) boots I used resulted in a rather aggravated [Achilles tendon](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Achilles_tendon) in my right foot. It got so bad that on the last day of skiing I took the tram down – something I can’t remember doing ever before. If anybody has had similar problems with their Achilles tendon and has good advice for how to treat (other than rest), I would much appreciate it!
