# Brief Update: It’s Cold Season

Apologies to my regular blog readers but I have been battling a nasty cold. So instead of getting up in the morning and writing a blog post I have been sleeping in a bit longer. I probably should have taken a couple of days off when I first got this cold a couple of weeks ago but have been kind of swamped at work and have ignored [my own advice](http://continuations.com/post/283233028/startups-and-your-health). 

Lots going on that I would like to write about though in particular I have been intrigued by the debate around Hilary Clinton [using her own email account](http://www.npr.org/2015/03/11/392375453/hillary-clinton-defends-private-email-use-under-state-dept-rules) during her time as Secretary of State as well as the recent decision to [retain state workers email for only 90 days](http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/13/nyregion/calls-to-end-quick-purge-of-new-york-state-workers-email.html?_r=0) in New York.
