This past weekend I finally tackled two projects that I had on my to do list for quite a while. Had I known how easy they would turn out to be I would have worked on them much sooner. Yesterday evening our son and I were taking a train back from Long Island on the LIRR and the trip was a great illustration of how decrepit our infrastructure is. About four minutes before train departure there was an announcement that the train was running on time. All good and we were looking forward to getting some work done on the train.
