# Good News on Net Neutrality

Yesterday FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler announced that he would be pursuing Title II classification for wired and wireless ISPs as a way to ensure net neutrality. This is potentially a big step forward on a topic that I have written a lot about here on Continuations. The devil is of course in the details and there is a big fight looming with some of the large cable companies. So we won’t know what we actually get for quite some time. In the meantime a this is a good moment to thank the organizations that have worked tirelessly to keep this topic on the minds of Americans and thus pressure on the FCC. In particular I want to call out Fight for the Future and suggest that you make a donation to help support them. PS After you have done that you might also want to re-watch John Oliver’s epic segment on the topic which is still funny.
